The Beavers concluded the two-day, 54-hole tournament with a 12-over 283-293-300—876 at the par-72 Chambers Bay.

USC was the only team to finish under par, posting a 5-under 859 to win the title. Riana Mission of San Francisco and Catherine Park shared medalist honors with an 8-under 208.

Sophomore Kelly Hope had her best three-round score (6-over 69-75-78—222) and best finish (tie for 30th) as a collegian. Hope’s 3-under 69 in the first round was a career-best.

True freshman Clara Alevag, who made her college debut, started off sensationally with a 3-under 69 and finished in a tie for 53rd place with a 13-over 69-83-77—229.

Sophomore Rebecca Kim finished in a tie for 69th place with a 17-over 81-72-80—233. The even-par 72 in the second round was a career-best.

The Beavers will return to action on Monday, September 30, and Tuesday, October 1 at the Molly Collegiate Invitational in Seaside, California.
