The Oregon men's golf program kicks off its 2024 fall season this weekend at the Sahalee Players Championship in Sammamish, Wash.
The 54-hole tournament at Sahalee Country Club will consist of 36 holes of consecutive golf on Saturday (Sept. 7) with the final round being played on Sunday (Sept. 8). GolfStat will provide live scoring.
The field will be a good tough test to start the season as the 13-team field features two other Big Ten programs and eight teams ranked in the top 25 including:
No. 14 Arizona, No. 2 Arizona State, No. 24 Duke, No. 10 Florida, No. 5 North Carolina, Northwestern, No. 20 Oklahoma State, OREGON, Pepperdine, TCU, No. 19 Texas A&M, UNLV, No. 18 Washington
Oregon opens the season just outside the top 25 in the national rankings, sitting at No. 26 in the Preseason Bushnell/Golfweek D1 Coaches Poll after making the NCAA Regional last season.
Three starters from last season’s team return Greyson Leach, Aiden Krafft, and Eric Doyle. Doyle carded his best finish of the season with a 10th-place result at the Pac-12 Championship while Leach earned a pair of top-10 finishes during his junior season. Krafft will look to make a jump up the leaderboards as a junior after being a lineup staple in his first two seasons in Eugene.
Head coach Casey Martin brought in five new Ducks for the 2024-25 campaign - one transfer and four freshmen.
The lineup for Ducks will include Greyson Leach, Daniel Bullen, Jeffrey Kwak, Aiden Krafft, Eric Doyle, and Jay Gould-Healy will compete as an individual.
Oregon will be grouped with Arizona and TCU for the first 36 holes of play while Jay Gould-Healy, competing as an individual, will be paired with North Carolina's Maxwell Ford and Duke's Daniel Choi.
